Events Organised | Brand Collaborations
From launching intimate 50-runner community events to co-sponsoring India’s largest marathon with 20,000+ participants, I’ ve shown how to:
Turn launches into movements – starting with Garmin Run Club and scaling with the Bessie Dreamers run.
Convert influence into sales – turning Brooks Run Happy shoes from “too flashy” to a 7-day sellout, or positioning Felt Cycles as “affordable premium” in a monopolized market.
Expand across categories – bringing Vibram into physiotherapy clinics, positioning Basso & Orbea in premium cycling, and expanding into triathlon brands like Zone3, Felt IA, MB Wear, and Rudy Project.
Execute with ownership – coordinating 300+ runner events with police permissions, hospital partnerships, and ₹2 lakh prize sponsorships, while handling logistics end-to-end.
Balance growth with authenticity – living the lifestyle by running, cycling, and testing products, earning trust through credibility.

Participated actively in the marathon, showcasing Oakley eyewear, Saucony apparel, and Skinners sock-shoes.

Encouraged my wife to join, reinforcing our identity as a family deeply invested in fitness and the brand ecosystem.

BROOKS RUN HAPPY
Orchestrated a photoshoot featuring my wife running in the new limited-edition shoes.
Created Instagram reels and community content, positioning the shoes as bold, fun, and trendsetting. Involved my pet — a local community hero — in photoshoots and reels, amplifying the emotional and viral appeal.
Leveraged my influence in the community — early adopters trusted my word and followed the trend.
FELT CYCLES LAUNCH
Organized a photoshoot at Chennai beaches to create imagery that resonated with local cyclists.
Offered free home delivery, bike fitting, and servicing to remove friction for first-time premium buyers.
Crafted a smart pricing strategy that positioned Felt as an imported yet affordable premium — breaking the “too costly” perception.
Highlighted versatility of Felt’ s hybrid cycles, appealing to everyday riders as well as enthusiasts.

VIBRAM EXPANSION
Personally tested the product, learning from barefoot running veterans to adapt gradually.
Pivoted target market from general runners to physiotherapy clinics and gyms — audiences who valued natural movement, posture correction, and rehab.
Created a commission-based model with physiotherapists and gym owners, turning them into advocates for Vibram.
Built awareness through events, demos, and collaborations, highlighting health benefits over performance.

TRIATHLON ECOSYSTEM EXPANSION
CHENNAI TRAIL ULTRA
Partnered with CTU as food & refreshments sponsor.
Showroom used as the bib distribution hub, giving high visibility to a fresh audience.
Personally participated alongside my wife, sister, and brother-in-law, completing 18 km on a multi-terrain course.
Route spanned dams, cashew farms, paddy fields, sandy riverbeds, and grasslands — a true endurance test.
Promoted the importance of hydration, nutrition, and balance on uneven terrain.
Introduced Zone3 wetsuits, inspired by founder James Lock’s world-champion background and disruptive Aspire design.
Launched Felt IA triathlon bikes, made famous by world champion Daniela Ryf for their speed and aerodynamics.
Expanded into MB Wear, a premium Italian brand for cycling jerseys, bibs, and socks.
Added Rudy Project for high-performance cycling eyewear and helmets.
Organized a professional photoshoot to showcase the brands in aspirational yet local contexts.
Began pitching directly to triathletes, endurance swimmers, and cyclists, positioning the showroom as a multi-sport ecosystem.

BASSO & ORBEA LAUNCH
Adopted Basso as my personal bike, whose geometry and stance matched my physique perfectly.
Began riding 50 km daily, tracking performance with a Hammerhead cycling computer.
Represented MB Wear cycling kits (jerseys, bibs, socks) and completed the Italian look with SIDI cycling shoes.
Immersed myself in premium cycling culture, joining professional groups and maintaining rapport with riders.
Personally recommended Basso to clients, advising them on fit, geometry, and long-term performance.
FRESHWORKS CHENNAI MARATHON '24
Sponsored the event with ₹2 lakh worth of shoes and prize coupons for winners across categories.

Hired and coordinated:
Our entire staff team
Extra manpower for handling rush

Represented MB Wear premium cycling kits and stud socks, giving the Italian brand visibility in a state dominated by other cycling names.
Maintained professional speeds above 30 kmph throughout the tour, riding alongside seasoned cyclists.
Concluded the event with camaraderie at Catamaran Brew Co., where the community bonded over recovery, beer, and smoked meat.
Strengthened professional rapport by networking with high-performance cyclists and event organizers.
TOUR DE PONDY
Legacy & Inspiration
Beyond growth and expansion lies the heart of my journey — legacy. My late mother was my greatest role model: a cancer fighter, a runner, and the reason I built the resilience, discipline, and empathy that guide me today. Her story intertwined with mine in many community events, where she inspired senior citizens, women, and everyday people to step outside and embrace fitness.
BROOKS THROUGH MY MOM
Began training with her at 4 AM daily along Chennai’ s ECR beach.
Together, we fed community dogs, greeted locals, and jogged 5 km every morning.
She participated in multiple run events, proudly wearing Brooks shoes.
Her recommendation drew senior citizens and health-conscious walkers to our showroom, trusting her lived experience over any marketing pitch.

THE LAST RUN (NEB SPORTS)
Entered the event with matching Saucony shoes — I wore the Tempus, she wore the Kinvara Pro.
Partnered with my college mate's new running apparel brand, 42 KM, by wearing their tank and shorts — giving them visibility.
Used my network with Chennai Police to support the event’s organization.
Ran alongside my mom, adjusting pace to walk and jog with her, keeping the atmosphere light. Midway, she developed heel pain, removed her shoes, and I carried them — joking and laughing together till the finish line.

APOLLO 5K COMMUNITY RUN
Used my network with the Chennai Police to block 5 km of highways for safe running.
Ensured full protection and crowd control, making it a well-managed community event.
Apollo Hospitals provided healthcare and first-aid backup, reinforcing trust.
Sponsored post-run breakfast for all participants.
Gave away ₹50,000 worth of prizes redeemable at our showroom.
Invited my mother as the special guest of honor — her speech drew applause, laughter, and emotional cheer from the entire crowd.
Entrepreneurial Ventures | Brands Launched
Every chapter of my journey — from community runs to scaling hospitality chains, from premium cycling brands to legacy-driven inspiration — has taught me one central truth: ownership is the difference-maker. I don’t approach ventures as an outsider. I treat them as if they are my own — with full accountability, deep care for people, and relentless focus on growth. Whether in my absence or someone else’s, I believe businesses must run with consistency, integrity, and vision. From a corner room startup to scaling chains across South India, my entrepreneurial journey has been defined by spotting opportunities early, scaling smartly, and exiting profitably — while always starting the next chapter with fresh energy.
